A helping hand....

First Orsted wanted to back out of the New York region, citing low energy prices and high capital costs.

Now the State Governor is moving forward with building a blade and nacelle manufacturing facility. Public money plus private investors will provide the funding.

At least the wind farm developers won't have to pay upfront costs for such facilities and will make windfarm development more attractive.
