Earnings

Although the newsletter seems a bit much (hungover PR perhaps) we should brace ourselves for a possibly less than stellar Q. Brazil got hit hard with covid much later than the rest of the world. Farmers may have had some disruption due to this. They should grow earnings but may not be as robust as the last quarters growth prior to the significance covid issues of this past quarter.

I have over 65k share and haven't sold any recently. I know someone that own exponentially more than that and they haven't sold any either. That gives me some comfort if nothing else.

Would love to hear what John Kaiser (Kaiser Research) has to say about Verde. He seems to be the biggest bull out there and I'm sure he and his followers own in the multiple millions. Fingers crossed. GLTA.

I have been steadily adding to my holdings, heading to a goal of 200,000 shares. I will not be a seller until we see the stock above $1, and that is a moving target set by the latest results and the bottom line momentum and subject to regular upward revision. My assessment is that the trading float is relatively small, and any increase in interest by new investors will quickly push the price of ...more

Based on the news letter I'm worried it's a poor quarter and they'll say the new electrical cable took longer to install than expected and they had to have production down during the installation. I'm also curious what the 290million liters dose equivalent of Clorox is. As it's "to date" that should be how much product they have sold up until the news release ...more

Hello Sugoioi, If the 3Q reports only 120,000 of product sold, this would be a disappointment even though it would be a 100% increase over Q3 in 2019. The Q2 YOY increase was almost 3 times the prior year (71,183 tonnes versus 23,600 tonnes). Having ramped up to a 2,000 tonnes per day throughput, the 90 days of the highest demand quarter should have bumped up against this limit, generating 180 ...more

Based on the paid Stockhouse article (paid in my eys equals authored by Verde) , I believe we're going to see some nice results tomorrow evening. Why else would you write this in an article a week before: Expectations for Q3 2020:  Q3 2020 results are important for Verde in terms of continuous growth. It will be interesting to see what Verde will deliver when it releases its report and ...more

Hello Kanerfalk,   I also read the Stockhouse article, which was quite informative for a new reader and potential investor. As you point out, the Company paid for this article to be posted by Stockhouse, so of course would have provided most of the content.  However, the writing style has a subtle change when you get to the final paragraph, which leads me to believe these are editorial ...more

The BLUNT intro was all about the Investor Survey.  Verde has always stated up front in their presentations not to invest in the company if you were risk averse.  This time they spelled it out for the dumbest of the dumbest to get the message of what risk averse... and I would expect that they want strong hands owning the stock. So far they have stated that they have not been impacted ...more

Goldwatch, you know Verde has had blunt intros and reminders on basically every single document they put out. I don't think that last intro was blunt. If it was intended as blunt it missed the mark and became something else as highlighted by comments on this and other boards. I've always felt there was a high level of professionalism from Verde. When it comes to drafting, reviewing, and ...more
