Intellectual Property

As a 64 year old I am not a savy tech investor so will leave it to the younger crowd to comment on the importance of IP rights for tech companies. If Verde is positioning itself as a tech company, I hope it is well informed as to the need to ensure its proprietary technology is well protected by patents and agressive licensing protocols.

If Verde has something unique in this latest announcement, what is in place to ensure other larger competitors don't simply copy what Verde is now producing and selling?

It seems there is more: https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2013061092 All three documents are patent applications. However, there is no information about whether they are granted a patent.

Looking at the diagram in the 2012 patent application makes one count ones blessings that the Company did not have to rely on this complex and costly method of producing a chlorinated product that we now know is not good for soil microorganisms. Today we have a much simpler product that can be processed cleanly and without harmful byproducts, and which does not leach Clorox like bleach solution ...more
