Looks like 'BAKS' is not such a new concept, so is it new technology?

The CEO said in one of the more recent post result meetings that they were losing potential sales to those companies that offer a blended product, so BAKS not a new concept. But possibly the first time greensand has been blended with sulphur etc? Don't know.

They are proposing to blend with elemental sulfur rather than a sulfate sulfur? Slightly unusual but certainly not new technology.

Has anyone seen a reference to where the Company will source the sulphur it intends to blend with the Cerrado Verde mineral deposit base? If an "all-in-one" product will enable farmers to use Verde as a single source, I guess the Company could pass the sulpher content through at its cost and simply enjoy the current margin on the K-Forte on a much expanded sales base. I have not. But just an example if Brazil produces any sour crude, or sour gas, which I'm fairly certain it does, they will have a lot of sulfur as a byproduct. The sulfur will be removed from that oil and gas. That's elemental sulfur. Will that be what they use, etc? Depending on how/where the sulfur is sourced BAKS may or may not be a product that can be considered for organic ...more
