Trading this week

Another week of pre warrant expiry trading is now in the record books - 318,611 shares traded in 358 separate transactions with a weighted average share price paid of $1.2104. The high this week came in at $1.28, the low at $1.10 and the week closed at $1.19.

Compare that to the same 5 days last year: 100,250 shares changed hands at an average price per share of $0.3626. And this just before the Covid crash hit the markets.

What a difference a year has made for the market valuation of the Verde opportunity.

Lest the flurry of new threads cloud this one, I wanted to bring this post back up. Historically, Stanmore has drastically underestimated Verde's board and its CEO. Wherever he is, I'm sure Stanmore is looking at Verde's success and reiterating:  "What a difference a year has made for the market valuation of the ...more

Hahaha! He's long gone! I pointed out that suspected fact 3 weeks ago. Crickets. Stan's a Brit. He knows the lingo. I suspect Stan got somewhat "overextended" into NPK for his particular comfort level pumping and pumping and pumping, yet at the same time voicing an open mistrust and suspicion of the Company & it's CEO. I bet he got cold (self inflicted) feet and I ...more

Well, for us holders, I do hope Stanmore is happy with his returns in view of what he left on the table. Guess that is what you reap when you do not trust management in the company you in invest. As for me, there will be no selling until Verde hits $ 50!

Right on. Ditto that. Can’t understand why people have been selling there shares since the 5$ mark. Crazy with what is ahead with this company.

Why do you think he sold ??.. He was posting here in February.. May be he has personal/health issues or may be on vacation etc. Besides, a lot of the old time holders are still here and still holding but you'd notice none of us are posting..  We have been here since last time NPK.TO cracked double digit share price and will do it once again with better prospects in terms of growth ...more

Rumours of Stans demise are very much exaggerated. He picked up the phone when I called him two days ago and we spent an hour discussing the current situation. I understand that his (substantial) core holding is very much intact; sounds like he is going nowhere.  I suspect Verde Shareholder Group members will be hearing from him shortly.  Whilst I am delighted at the share price ...more
