Verde Common shares trade down to $0.98

One day after Verde's CEO Corporate Presentation (now available on Youtube here
Corporate Presentation | Verde AgriTech - YouTube) the price of Verde's common shares fell below $1 for the first time since January.

It would appear that whatever the market was expecting from this presentation, the share price assessment in the market today gives it a failing grade.

We will now have to wait for actions (tangible financial results transparently reported in the quarterly and annual statements) rather than the CEOs words and predictions, to unlock and support real shareholder value as demonstrated by a strong and rising share price on the TSX.

How low can it go? Having broken $1, I am not confident as to where the next support level will come, again until the financial statements demonstrate a higher share price is warranted.

Very, very sad - I for one had hoped to see a more impressive performance.

And the AGM is now less than 2 weeks away. Based on Mr. Veloso's response to the question, as of yesterday he had no idea of who the required 2 members to provide a Quorum will be at the "Closed" AGM meeting on June 30 in Belo Horizonte.

Really?

Only 2 people are allowed to attend and participate, one who will be the Chair of the meeting and the only person, other than quorum member 2, allowed to vote at the meeting for himself and on behalf of Verde shareholders who appointed the Chair as their proxy. In Belo Horizonte. Anyone want to guess who the meeting Chair is going to be?

All the commodities plays, including potash companies were down today so not really surprised that this niche play with low trading volume is of any particular interest to broaderr market..   Near term, I for one am not expecting much..  FWIW  p.s. Have not watched the video yet.. Not sure if I will get around to it and even if I do, whether it will make much difference ...more

Hello TechOne, Given the announced stretch targets for Mr. Veloso's 2021 bonus (set at a maximum of $420,000 or 100% of his base salary) the Company will still be well within the capacity of Plant1. A year later at the same pace, they might be bumping up against daily capacity limits (2,000 tonnes per day) during the peak weeks of Q3, but not enough to warrant building plant 2. It would take ...more

Stan,  where did you get information from that the PFS will be ready in q1-q2? When they published that they were going to do an updated version they clearly stated that it will be ready in the end of the year.

Hello DD. My expectation of the release of an updated 2017 Prefeasibility Study before the end of 2021 came from a phone conversation with Mr. Veloso. I agree that public references to this initiative have only referred to "in 2021" and now "at the end of 2021". In spite of the acknowledgment of the planned updated study, the Company as recently as this week's corporate ...more

Thanks for your answer Stan, from the news release 1 March To correctly assess sulfur’s potential market in Brazil and the opportunities that come with it, a new Pre-Feasibility Study will be developed in 2021, which is expected to be finished by the end of the year.

The PFS or should it be FS is dependent on cash flow to determine NPV.  The largest unknown is sales of the product. They have flexibility to scale up plant 2 by running additional lines. Sales projections are the biggest unknown, I don't see how you could come up with an accurate NPV unless one has a good handle on sales. This is why CV is touting flexibility in production capacity, he& ...more
