Hello fellow Verde shareholders,
My December 2020 prediction that the Verde share price, having just hit the $1 per share mark, would reach $2 per share by December 31, 2021 turned out to be well founded.
Based on the 2021 Q3 YTD numbers and the continuing strengthening of the share price, I shared my updated forecast that I believed the anticipated positive news expected (2021 annual results, 2022 forecast production and sales, updates 2017 PFS, and general positive fertilizer price environment, etc.) that the Verde share price would hit $5 by December 31, 2022.
Since that time the market appears to be determined to make me look stupid. Ok, so $2.70 on December 31, 2021 was over my $2.00 forecast - but that was actually reached on December 1st, so only 30 days out.
We then went above $3.00 on January 10 when the 2022 production and sales guidance was issued, $4.00 on January 17th, and have hit $4.68 in trading today - February 1st. If this keeps up we will see $5 before the end of February - 10 MONTHS AHEAD OF MY FORECAST!
Enough already. How can I keep adding to my position prudently when all you folks are trying to do the same thing? Just because this continues to be the best opportunity I have in my due diligence basket doesn't mean you have to think so too.
Ok, I know that Oscar Wilde was correct when he said that sarcasm is actually the lowest form of wit. Verde's recent run is in fact wonderful and I am delighted to be proven wrong in my December 31, 2022 $5 projection. I know that many of you on this board are sharing in the very pleasant glow that comes from seeing the green unrealized gains number in your broker statements rapidly grow over the last few months. Long may it continue!
Cheers.
