07:57 AM EDT, 08/16/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Verde AgriTech Ltd (NPK.TO) on Tuesday said it has formed a sales partnership with Grupo Lavoro, a large distributor of agricultural inputs in Latin America.

Lavoro will be a distributor of Verde's products, including multi-nutrient potassium products BAKS and K Forte, in Brazil, the fertilizer producer said. Lavoro operates over 190 stores in Brazil.

Cristiano Veloso, Verde's founder and CEO, said Lavoro has a reach beyond Verde's current geographical scope. "Furthermore, Lavoro's track record in promoting biological products in Brazil will help accelerate the successful uptake of K Forte-Bio Revolution," Veloso said.

The growth aspects here are very compelling. Production will more than triple at 2 m tons in Q4 with another substantial increase in 2023. Is the product ...more

Of my holdings on the TSX, Verde is by far the most exciting.  Good news has been pouring in month upon month.  Growth seems inevitable, with share price increase a secondary but inevitable consequence.

Based upon my review of NPK peers is that its gross margins at 79% have no comparables in its space . This means that NPK will be profitable at low prices which will near bankrupt its peers. In addition, NPK remains an insular business and has yet to show its product to the world agriculteral world . Its premium high margins means that it can easily outcompete its competitors , winning market ...more

According to the CEO, historically low prices are highly unlikely. He believes $400 for KCl will be as low as she goes. Kaiser figures $500. I believe in Kaiser's forecast. As you point out, there is no way the industry can be profitable at anything lower. Rapid growth will be waking up the giants. Once fully permitted for 25 million tonnes, something will likely happen. Possibly before then ...more
