"Therefore, the preliminary sale of carbon credits has been withheld in favour of ongoing talks around a sustained, long-term market solution that will ensure consistent and expandable monetization."

Oh well, more cheap shares on the way.

The same could be said for releasing a press release. If Cris wants to hire reputable executives and mature this business then he really needs to stop squandering the company's credibility by issuing PR's that turn out to be misleading or just untrue. Does he not realize the terrible optics directly attributable to his decisions within the investment community or does he just not care ...more

The problem with founder led companies lies in governance...there appears to be none. And why have there not been investment banking expertise courted that might lead to legitemate research? I guess its too small and unproven. So we wait for all this free money out of carbon credit scheme that seems to have no concrete rules, valuation, or track record. I give my own head a shake and blame myself ...more

Can you believe this stock trafded up to four bucks on the word of the CEO that NPK was in late stages of a deal for carbon credit sale? Any legitemate company would have remained silent until the deal closed. Quarterly revenues earnings were dismal, and skeptics thought this announcement was to distract from that dissapointment. Now we are down 45% since the hype, 80% from the peak, and there is ...more

Don't disagree with your comments. However, Verde is a Brazilian microcap that happens to trade on the TSXc. Can't expect their governance to be comparable to Canadian companies. If you don't want to be diappointed, then don't purchase any shares. Another alternative is to only hit the buy button when the share price is bombed out. We may be close to such an opportunity.

I expect a tsx listed company to act like on, or be listed on a less reputable exchange  Do you think a Nasdaq listing would tolerate the uttely loose disclosure practices we have just seen up close and personal? Not a chance, and maybe that explains why Nasdaq never happened....our entire system of stock trading is based on timely and accurate disclosure. Reputations follow you around, and ...more

I'm certainly not going to defend what Cris just did. You cannot put a teaser PR out like that suggesting a sale is imminent within Q3 and that at current capacity those credits could fetch up to $150M only to retract the whole thing without, yet again, completely calling into question his credibility. This flaw of his to favor hype over reality has vexed me immensely. Having said that, my ...more

I'm sure this would help with any CAPEX for a CC compliant product? A lot more grinding required. https://epbr.com.br/comissao-do-senado-aprova-incentivos-para-fertilizantes/
