Many thanks. I've wondered if this recent steeper than expected sell off has been less to do with operational failures and more to do with the sizable debt, breach of covenants, along with no notification on renegotiated terms for a lot of debt coming due in 2024.  The ceo really put the company in a precarious position and showed his navet by doing an enormous capex project right at ...more

That's quite possible though I think more so it's the trade/sales between FVS and Verde. If some investors are using those figures then make sure you use R$20/t (circa CAD$5.30) as the trade price!

There is always the private placement solution, but to be on a safe path forward they would have to double the share count to around 100 mil.
Comment by rudinm on May 13, 2024 3:07pm
yes i tought about that.... or a merger with nutrien or other company that would like to diversify in to green fertelizer...
Comment by DiggeDiego on May 13, 2024 3:19pm
Unfortunately Brazil is the coldest place on earth for fertilizer companies at the moment, so I don't think there is any chance  a take over or merger is possible. Most international companies want to divest rather than invest in the country....

It kinda feels like something private is being placed, and the shareholders feel it deeply
