I believe that most well meaning politicians are grasping for straws.  Having just lived through a record breaking heat wave here in western Canada, it's abundantly clear making progress on climate change has to be accelerated. The way forward does not look easy and right or wrong, the green bandwagon looks like the only bet to those who have to stear the ship. Hence NatGas industry now increasingly marketing the tune of being THE transitional fuel from the cleanest producers as part of the way forward.

Without china or India on board, whatever we in Canada do is useless. Complete joke, this should have been addressed 50 years and 5 billion less people ago.

I'm thinking the trick here is to just hold on and let this play out. The only way to convince these liberals is to let them have exactly what they are asking for and I'm sure this is what petroleum based energy companies are doing. The point of having Gold is not so much having lots available but rather what people are willing to pay for it. Eg. The little Texas crisis. Nobody can fix
