Cash, gold and gold related equities.....

I hope most of you have taken the opportunity to cash in on what has been an extraordinary run we've enjoyed over the last several months. Markets have been looking very jittery for awhile now. Commodity related stocks like o&g, copper, precious metals will do very well in the years ahead but I'm almost certain that there is a major sell off in the cards. Markets have been at euphoric levels for quite awhile now and not much in the way of positive news to propel them higher imo. I'm betting that bargains will be available in the months ahead. We shall see.

Demand is going to hit the world like a tsunami. Ever since the beginning of Covid, future demand has been growing and supply has been slowing . Covid is now over !! You would probably be the first to agree with me on that  Mercifully I am much too stupid to trade technicals. So I will just hold while waiting for the gravy boat to come my way !!

Never been a technical trader myself.......not so sure most, not all, are that successful with it either. Buy and hold I would agree is likely the best approach I would agree. Admittedly I'm usually in to early when the sector is in distress and wait in boredom for it to turn and most often than not, out to early before it peaks and end up leaving some gains on the table. Thanks for the back up, I should stress however that I do not think the pundits have accounted for the rapidity with which the Omicron variant is disappearing. The Omicron has now effectively wiped out all the other variants and due to its much less severe effects, it is effectively inocculating everyone. Herd immunity has effectively been achieved outside Asia. Think about all the travel and ...more
