or, you could look at it this way, DOW is down 730 points and Cdn oil stocks are flat. IMO, after all the general market carnage seen this year and Nuvista up 28% ytd, this is setting up very nicely.

It's as expected in my opinion.  The markets are getting crushed AGAIN. If we stay flat, that's a win in my books.  The only fear I have is that wti is about5-10% higher than it should be at the moment due to the war.  The oil supply issue would have gotten us to $100 but I think that this will correct before we see $100 if the war issues are resolved.  At the moment, I ...more

I don't think the war issue is not going to resolve anytime soon. This will be a long protracted war with soldiers on the ground. Also obvious to me is that China will be invading Taiwan very soon. Market is just too slow to recognize this I think. They are going to stock up on everything and pay a premium for O&G. The domino effect is going to take a couple of years to play out IMO ...more

Russian troops crossed in from belarus with no resistance they are surrounding cities and not going in. A prolonged guerrilla war is not what russia is going to do. They will starve out the cities like they did in midevil times.
