I have to say, Old Fox just uttered some VERY sage and valuable words:

"I'd rather there be a decent size SHORT position against NVO because EVERY short will eventually become a Buyer closing out their short position...of course the best outcome is the short not only covering but becoming a new NVO long

"Shorts are not the enemy (no not naked shorts) ....so IF the shorts have covered recently then if true that removes any further pop testing resistance on the chart as with the news Tues of the First Ever NVO Famous Gold pour these shorts that covered, covered without moving the price 5% higher...hmmm...who were the sellers because again if the majority of shorts covered this week WHY isn't NVO $4 +"

I cannot argue with this - he is a great point - that I never really considered. 

And this, my friends, is the VALUE of tolerating even the MOST irrational/disgusting speech on a regular basis - sometimes we find jewels like this. The old geezer babbled on all week with his trash, but then he comes up with THIS. Many thanks - and I'm actually grateful for any insults you can throw my way - but my wife actually out-performs you on this, so you are still a LOSER. Bwahahaha!

I can agree with your point too, as I am a long-term investor here. Old Fox's point is well-received, as the shorts become longs when they cover - which can be a good thing for us, if even for just an instant, as the process can help in consolidation. The naked shorts, as he warns, are an entirely different animal. A very nice review by you of Mr. Moriarty's book. I'm not through
