vaccine

When I was in college one project I got to do was making a vaccine. It was a great learning experience.Today I find myself in a most bizarre period in time where a great number of people have no

appreciation of what a vaccine does and have no interest learning. Also people are making the most illogical arguments against them. To begin with. no vaccine is 100%....that does not mean they are not

effective. My father came from a family of 10 children half of which contracted polio. No argument from them about vaccinations.Fear is a

great motivator. There are no atheists in foxholes. It must be the low mortality rate that repeatedly I hear it is just the flu. So was the Spanish flu with a 30% mortality rate ..how is that dismissive?

Regardless of fact people think it is their right to be illogical and for that we will have covid with us for many years more.It is a pity as the Chinese have the perfect solution for your

rights.Step on the streets and we will shoot you.It was amazing how fast covid was eradicated  in Wuhan.Get people to actually stay at home for a month or having rights. What is the correct solution?

In my opinion if we were really scientiftic  covid would be gone. Our health intellectuals have shown poor communication skills and have allowed a health issue to become a political one.Who would have

thought?Who would have thought weak arguments would prevail over logical ones.If only it were a life or death situation. But it is and try to argue that to the

ones that have lost someone. No matter what defiance you choose your rights are killing someone so get a conscious or kill someone.

Hi Ike I think it's your choice on what you consider to be a safe medicine, and what you consider to be the acceptable level of informed consent. But it works both ways.  People should not be denied early treatment for any illness.  Regardless of vaccination status. The only question you need to ask whether you're vaccinated or not is this: If you believe that you have a ...more

I always respect your opinion TX. Covid is a Nuevo viris which means it has not been seen before. IMHO it was engineered by a not so clever militiary. It has a lot of interesting features from a  scientific approach. Compared to Spanish flu that killed those mostly under 18 this one kills those over 50. It shows in the nonchalant attitudes in the young. I live an hour from Kelowna BC where ...more

I understand Ike.  Keeping everyone out of hospitals is really important.  So that the ones that really need the services, have access to them. We're all in agreement there.  But there are multiple ways to address this problem.  And simply strong arming a one-fits-all solution.   https://peckford42.wordpress.com/2021/08/28/greenlight-for-ivermectin-in-japan/  ...more

Tx, thank you.  I took advantage of your information to order from the link you provided, though I feel I may have natural immunity.  [Why I feel that is beyond my point.] I had only one jab and only under a form of blackmail from my kids and grandkids.  It made me so sick I refused to take the second one.  In any event, I took advantage of your information to order a couple ...more

Tx wife is fine when she told me she had sarcodosis I burst out laughing as I told her the chances of dying from it are less likely than a car accident. Eye problems were unique  however. Sarcodosis is only serious if you happen to be  black man. The healthcare is  amazing here but access can be hard. No one has died of Covid when taking Vit D and it is the single best thing to ...more

Unfortunately this "People do not get that vaccines never reach their effectiveness unless everyone takes them." Is only accurate if the vaccine actually prevents infection which is obviously NOT true in this situation. People harbouring infection even if minimally symptomatic will continue to infect those for whom the vaccine does not take effect but more worrisome in those whom the ...more

If effectiveness wanes over time, and if spiked proteins are hard to eliminate from one's system, why would one want further injections when it seems the spiked proteins are responsible for harmful side effects?  Would not a build-up of spiked proteins cause more damage to more people when they take second jabs and boosters? Rhetorical questions.  But frankly, I've become more ...more
