Can someone summarize the litigation

In 2021 NWH attempted to expand their asset management business by offering to jointly (with GIC) buy a Aust. Unlisted Trust. It was not successful after taking a position and sued the manager and affiliates of the Trust. The settlement now provides for an avenue to exit the position by year end. The net result of this will obviously depend on the market for the Aust.Trust units and the timing of ...more

If they took a position, why were they unable to liquidate it? Why DID IT REQUIRE litigation to  sell the position- and more importantly, how many millions will it free up?
