Early warning report

They didn't explicitly mention that they sold any shares  so I'm not sure what the point of the press releases was...

 Daniel D here said last week PDL owned 8.5% as of April 29 and that number is still the same. Maybe the point of the report was the paragraph that mentioned considering buying more units.

Since no one is replying on this board I guess no one has an answer. 

But I will tell you insiders buying versus selling sub 7.50 will tell me all I need to know about the future prospects of this reit and whether to hold or sell.

This is the ultimate head scratcher! The last EWR was filed by NWVP in April/21 reporting ownership of >14%. On April 19/23 it owned 8.34% according to the Circular. In reviewing 63-103 I note that there are exemptional situations that do not require a EWR, however, it does not appear that those exemptions would apply here. The obvious question is why now only? Why now only for what? Sounds like they are intending on buying,  not selling.  Automatic security purchases is currently being set up.  They probably think $6 is good to get the shares they sold at $10+

If the OSC got wind of this, PDL, as a trustee, CEO and 10% holder, would have to provide answers as to why no EWR were filed while he was selling in 2022. It appears that he was very selective in choosing to only file now but not on the previous sells. Clearly a 10%+ holder must file when buying or selling unless it is exempt from 62-103 provisions. Yes,  at the point he went under 10% was he not required to do the EWR if that was before April 29? Maybe he didn't do it purposely deemed he forgot and they put it out now instead with the buying part to confuse investors
