BLOOD IN THE STREETS
PPL ARE WALKING AWAY FROM NEW HOME PURCHASES
Losing 300k presently cuz of interest hikes

Bozzo, the banks will  be selling those homes at a profit and lots of buyers will be in the market to pick them up. PPl will be in a position to renegotiate their loans  at lower rates, where will that leave you?

Bohzzzz2, reread my response to your post and didn't like the tone of what and how I wrote that, so sorry if it offended you, just too quick of a response without enough thought on my part as how to word that. I had read the same article in the G&M a few days ago as well. What meant to say was that I didn't agree with the article as the Banks could wind up with a lot of houses that ...more

I think the larger point related to further interest rate raises. ( probably at the top of the rate cycle )  Reits should get some relief next year with on yields coming down, and both Canada and the US.     I think for Canada there is too many head winds and they will have no choice but to cut by mid next year. ( because of mortgage renewals.)  I also thought the point ...more

This inflation narrative should be retired soon..going into 3rd year, we get it, its above arbitrary target might be indefinitely but its not the end of the world
