i personally sold in the morning. dont like how they swapping ceos already after less than a year on the job. shoot first and ask questions later. i got in at $5 and happy with my gains. will be watching for re-entry. other reits like minto and interrent selling off creates a wonderful opportunity in the meantime.

The CEO is important to run the company but not influential to what the REITs assets are worth.  The strategic review is concluded over a year, if that couldnt put the REIT on proper footing no CEO will

problem for me is unlike canadian office, retail and industrial, im not sure how liquid or how easily those assets can transact. overall, nwh looks safe for the coming couple years, not sure how safe it is long-term given the geographical exposure which i have little clue about. in any case, it looks safe from here and medical office looks strong - stronger now then before covid. but most peers ...more

It wasnt abrupt like HR where the landtower president was dimissed immediately.  And even in that case there was nothing wrong going on with HR, business as usual.   NWH CEO will be there till mid next year, I expect NWH didnt initiate it cause they would have a replacement ready to go if they did either way in a few weeks itll be old news

i actually sold H&R too because of the florida weather risks. still a huge position in artis though! it could be and i hope it is, old news in a few weeks. definetely want to get back into H&R and certainly open to re-investing in NWH soon. need to see insider buys though.

started to re-add on friday. luckily skimmed out of nwh a couple days before sell-off mostly to buy the minto dip as it moved up so quicly. gonna add more slowly if it lags. the next couple quarters should see a nice drop in payout ratio which will excite the divy hogs.

Sounds like you're into "trading" reits...a 6% downslide for NWH while collecting a dividend isnt that big a deal.   But I concur as it approachs $5.00 or $4's its definitely a stronger buy/accumulate.

well, sell $75k worth of NWH at $5.72 and buyback at $5.25 in a week or so isn't a bad deal at all.  not a bad return at all. i'll take it.  and yes, im trading some reits, and a very very active investor.

Estor, that holding might have made you the largest NWH.UN holder not only in Estevan but all of Saskatchewan! Glad to see that you're doing well. This bird should eventually take flight for those willing to wait, they just have to stay alive long enough.
