SERIOUS QUESTION

What does the market like? They project a 9 cent affo for 2024 which means dividend is barely payable. 100%. No major asset sales

I too am confused.  Operationally its good and seems like asset sales are easy if they want. The value is there if rates drop, however that massive wall of debt due next year and a payout ratio of 100% means trouble.  Either people are confused or the assets are so desirable that the market is looking beyond short term financing.

By listening to the conference call of course they can't say anything about asset sales until they happen.  But my feel is that there's going to be some upcoming sales and they'll be used to pay down the high rate debt.     This could be individual asset, sales or entire countries portfolio so you wouldn't want to be short the shares but there's no ...more

I agree.  The necessary steps they have taken will ensure that the Company weathers the interest/capital availabiity 'storm' until conditions improve.  An acquirer could have taken the same steps, so I guess the price was not right. This is not a day-trade stock.  It is for patient investors who recognize that the operations are running well.  The write-down was forced ...more

Not a day trade... true but a trade when it gets unreasonably knocked down and then shoots back up. That usually is a few ( months trade ) or buy it low enough that you're willing to hold for the long-haul.
