I quote wti -6$ usd heavy -26$ USD ngl a mix of 37$/50$/60$ cad and last 4 days has been 3.75$/mcf x6 for boe.

Just over 30% natural gas is not enough. OBE must get this percentage of natural gas to 70% or Die.
Comment by Kramerkarma on Sep 09, 2021 11:06am
sorry but your missing the point then. All the income is from liquids. Even at nearly 4$ today that's 24$/boe when pumping is 18$ and replacement is 18$ ... how do you profit? .... by selling 48$ NGL and 78$ oil is how.... its the equivalent of Starbucks selling 1$ pain small coffee ... they profit off the 8$ mocha latte frap a whack a Chinos

I agree, OBE needs to get natural gas production higher. The good news is natural gas shouldnt be hard to increase as we own gas plants with capacity. NG just hasnt been economic to focus on when it is trading at 1.50-2.5 a mcf like it has in the past. Even at 4 mcf...that is not going to be enough for companies to invest in new gas plants. Companies that have gas plant space that will be ...more

Any read on the A&D market in Alberta?  Things have been too quiet.  Prices are condusive to deals.  Bid/Asks still too far I wonder.  Cash remains short for many companies and all mgmt's eyes, their paper is too cheap to transact?   When does this negative feedback cycle end?  I guess produce more cash.... More patience I guess...  Just seems like ...more

Have not heard any rumours but I dearly wish that OBE would merge with IPO and let Bartole be the CEO of the combined entity. IPO is not only killing it at the well head but are constantly getting analyst upgrades. OBE could use some good press to go with their good results. Bartole is a good spokesman for his company. He performs in meeting his promises, speaks with humility and has analysts on ...more

Boy do we ever need some promotion. Probably only thing stopping IPO from being on Eric Nuttal Nine Point reason FCF/arket cap list for 2022 is size as Bartole would be able to convince him. Sick that BNE is on a NInepoint graph that Nuttal tweets. Number 1 how realistic is BNE's 2022 forecast. OBE would have the highest 2022 FCF Yield to Market Cap that if Eric had included OBE he would ...more

Is it shorts holdin it down...or is a 2.80-3.50 a better price range to hold OBE in so the new stock options will be more attractive to attract the new CEO.... Oh Yeah...Obe will go rocket up on Q3 results...you are right on that theory.... Compare this to Cardinal Energy as I know you like it too and it is not close on future value....

I gotta be honest those people who buy Coffee at Starbucks and have Cell phones (re not for any good reason) should be paying double taxes on everything.
