Receipts settling next week at 4.40

could    weigh  on  the stock   so  buyers  may  want  to reserve some dry powder.

I am wrestling that...how much powder to keep dry. Needing only two brokers RJ and Stifel to raise 22M even at 4.40 looked really strong. You trend with a ruler OBE price since Oct 1..been blips and spikes but in general the ruler would come at 4.80-4.85.  Sure as shareholder I had wishful thinking for abit higher but taking emotions out...4.40 was really strong price. Prob alot of ...more

'We have such a stellar Q4 coming ' You said same about Q2 & Q3/POOP! And the stock tanked! More dishonesty.

I just buy a lot every dime and create an average.

I think Timothy what you are trying to say in your own simple way is like to catch a falling knife. Especially when brokavern tells you what a great a buying opportunity it has become since July. Its below its high when majority OG names are higher!

It is the offering dynamic at work.  A lot of new shareholders at discount prices.  So naturally a lot of voliatilty given pipe hedging and speculative shorters. BTW, you never answered why you think PROP is bad for our ARO?  After which I asked you if you knew our company LMR Ratio and the PROP asset LMR....  If you can answer those, you will find our that our LMR increases ...more

'why ARO matters when it has no term' I would like to wrap my arms around you and give you a hug you are a blissful boob when it comes to understanding the energy patch. In every meeting I have had it comes up. Nobody in the patch wanted to touch OBE when frontfour shopped the company. That overhang wont go away anytime soon and its a big albatross around OBEs neck. Deals will be harder ...more

Continue to avoid getting into technical talk. Instead anecdotal stories of your meetings lol

I have to weigh in here because oilypants doesn't have a clue about ARO.  ARO was an issue when oil prices were $35. The reason is that the red water ruling makes ARO the first creditor in event of bankruptcy. The approximately $600 million which discounts to under $100 becomes closer to $600 million if bankruptcy is imminent. With oil at $80, there is not a chance in hades of ...more

you'll notice everyone screaming aro but never actually noticing we've had aro removal of $4 for every $1 spent. Additionally noone will peep about tax pools as it blows aro out of the water. And this is $80 oil ... these guys forget 2020 is getting further behind us.

The private placement process works by having several moving parts.   The two main parts are  1. A manager (investment bank) 2. A group of buyers that will always say yes to an offer to buy into an IPO or secondary offering  In order for 2 to always work several things must happen  1.  The shares must be offered at a discount  2.  The buyers must have access ...more

Would be funny to see Loukas pull out of deal and take another opportunity forcing all the preshorted shares to run

The last part of this post is hilarious. BNE got greedy?  LOL  The BNE board never engaged with OBE and eventually told OBE to take a hike; and the majority of BNE shareholders agreed.  It was OBE who extended the acceptance date, three times I believe, maybe four.  OBE also lowered the minimum tender to 50% when they saw their offer going nowhere. LOL, BNE got greedy and ...more

Gunner Your post illustrates how dishonest posters are here. BNE got greedy fiction and revisionist history. Same posters pushed the deal. Lets keep this board honest good job Gunner!
