Saturday...

Feelin so optimisic for the upcoming week.
High probablity of a 4.70-4.81 open on Monday as long as Wti is up at least 35 cents green.
Wound up for Monday morning to come lol.

Own more shares then I ever thought I would own in a company and things with the company just get better as each month passes by.

Been spending more time on Blueskey and Clearwater.

So f*cking amazing how shallow the vertical depth is...only like 600-700 metres.
Cardinal Energy has started their clearwater development and they look to be using a water well drilling company (haha).  That is prob the cheapest way to do it. They will get another rig on to drill the multi lateral.

Baytex looks to be using Komat drilling to drill vertical depth...really shallow 1000 metre rig and then using a tele double Horizon Rig that looks so over sized for their clear well well.

I suspect this is the case because Horizon is very desperate for work and prob offered Baytex an exremely cheap day rate, Horizon has crew they want to keep...but that is a 4500 metre capabiltiy rig...could drill a cardium well with that rig lol.

Baytex is prob benefiting as that Horizon rig is newer and designed to be accurate.
Skill to doing those mutli lateral wells....techlogy has really opened it up due to increased accuracy.

Be interesting to see if drilling rates get higher what Baytex will do...will the be able to justify and afford a tele double for clearwater wells.  That rig is prob helping bite it hitting so well.

Hoepfully cardinal doesnt go cheap on the rig.

Obsidian is has the perfect rig in my view for doing clearwater wells with the current Precision rig they have drilling Bluesky wells in Peace River.
It a slant single...as it is a PD rig isnt going to be so modern and advanced..and it prob has a drilling depth of 3700 metres max capacity.

The PD slant single gets an advantage over Horizon double in amount of loads to move the rig. Way less on a single vs double.  Cheaper their.
But the tele double is going to do the well faster.  Top drive is going to bigger.
And accuracy is going to be same if not better with single.

Clearwater is a large massive zone (and down)...you need to drill accurately.

Hoping OBE can get a lift on these Bluesky wells just from techmology gains we have in 2021 for drilling versus in 2018. Things have advanced alot.

I like the all the rigs OBE uses...we don't use small contractors...largest nabors, ensign and now PD.  PD newer rigs are so advanced.  Blessing to use them. Help our odds of drilling sucess...wont hurt it for sure lol.

Really the only downside in my view in short term other the chance of covid/commodity weakness is if OBE does a takeover.  Something like that can push OBE down temporariliy. Entrada is most likely target.  Any land map shows this..not much too debate here. Interesting part is one of Entrada's largest shareholders (they may own almost all of Entrada not sure) is that Azimuth ...more
