Todays NR and yesterdays stock purchase indicate OBE is not in a quiet period. If they were currently negotiating to make a purchase they would be in a quiet period

I think Stepen can buy up until tomorrow and be okay..depends on the type of tranaction....or it could have been Jan 5...as settlement is 2 days.... This buy signals that the CEO is comfortable at buying at current prices  When a share price appreciates 50 plus percent in a couple of weeks ish some will be thinking about taking profits hoping to buy back cheaper later.   When the CEO buys at the top it's a signal of higher prices to come

I hope Stephen continues as CEO on a permanent basis  Love the job he is doing. Nice to see the feb hedging...good prices.  I am sure Obe will take advantage of this and hedge more for March.

Why would they change their policy of minimal hedging and keeping it to a month out? Covid is over Oil demand is more now than before Covid (and airline travel hasn't returned yet) OPEC was only able to produce 90,000 barrels of the 400,000 additional barrels they said they would produce last month (ie OPEC+ Doesn't have the extra capacity they claim) There is a Nat Gas shortage
