OBE now vs 2014.

I put a post on Twitter about the difference. 6.15x less shares. =340M debt and 16,900boe/day there EV/boe was 97.600/boe vs 38.600 current. So we would be $29 per share. They averaged $32.6 netback before capex over the year. We're closer to 42+ right now. Don't sell yourself short when dividends and prices are realized the melting of the CAD even if kav gets his pull back.... well have a 100k/boe EV dividend investors just look at income debt and yield. We can remove debt , grow production and have low shares... the 3 EV torques beside oil price.

Agreed OBE has two different future strategies, both of which result in significantly higher share price. 1.  Do what they are doing.     This means keeping their cap ex in the $150 million range to generate 5-10% ish growth; paying down their $400 ish total debt down to about $300, then converting that to 5 year debintures; then paying a dividend.   This is a ...more
