Strange Activity

Both  OBE and SGY are acting stange lately. Both these stocks should be ramping up in price but are doing the oppisite. Is this a case of the larger investors trying to shake out weaker hands?

Definetly seen this before they are truly shaking the weak hands out based on great 2nd quarter results.  Should be up at least 25% from here when they report.  But OBE should move on Shareholder meeting info.

SGY has less than 2/3 of the production of OBE, and less cash flow, and non of the heavy oil growth potential, and almost none of the increased gas price potential.    All divided by more shares.    Translation, SGY is worth less than OBE. If OBE drops, intelligent investors would sell SGY to buy OBE.  Nothing strange about that. OBE's drop is more unusual, ...more
