Thetruth

You keep claiming it is fairly valued.  Maybe you should show your metrics and then compare them to the other oil companies???

You keep claiming OBE's management is a failre. Again show how you came to this conclusion.

You state we have no divy. I don't emember OBE promising a divy.

Finally I think Obe is poised to continue its upswing if oil remains at these levels and that's why I hold shares. You, on the other hand, do not believe we will. So again i ask, why are you here posting daily about what you see as a failed company. Go invest in something you believe in.

First of all, you must have a problem reading and writing the English language. You first sentence states: "You keep claiming it is faily valued". I have been stating the exact opposite. Obe is chronically undervalued. Yes this is due to poor management as the company has world class assets. My other contention was that management has done nothing to create shareholder value for its ...more

With all the potential of this company and its assets why has it not been a aquisition target? Hell if you buy it for twice the current share value you just barley paying over fair value? Sorry I have more questions than answers. The share price has held up well over the last few weeks against crude oil price declines. Someone has been acquiring shares as in the past OBE has moved agressivly up ...more

Of course none of us know for sure why another company has not moved to acquire OBE with its world class assets but based on Loukas's last plan he seems to feel that companies with the financial where with all are  looking for more production in their aquisitions. Now that may be a result of offers he has seen or based on what he hears in the marketplace and is his speculation. We don' ...more

Being the subject of a takeover, when undervalued, is not as straight forward as it may appear. An offer to purchase can be supported by the Board, or it can be hostile (not supported by the Board). If a company is in financial distress, then the Board will often support an offer to purchase. If a company is undervalued, and financially stable, then the Board will generally need a fully valued ...more

I agree with most of what you have written but I question that maybe the latest  plan is not the way to acheive their goal. Lets face it to date no matter what Obe seems to achieve it is not rewarded properly by the marketplace. Perhaps it would be better to sell it off in pieces thus avoiding this problem of trying to convince a stock market who clearly does not understand the value of the ...more

sorry meant "undervalued" not fairly.  And I am aware of the metrics.  Are you? I don't need to provide any since you are the one making the claim that OBE is a lost cause.  Provide your numbers.
