The Governor and others have Covid and Duterte is locking things up, the same as everywhere else---we're in a third wave and there will probably be more to come.
Everyone seems to be looking for the real reason for the Didipio FTAA holdup; imho it's as simple as Duterte waiting for the pandemic to stop--just won't risk the travel associated with starting up the mine. Here in Canada things are looking grim with the variants apparently spreading like wildfire. To no rational person's surprise it's going to be the United States of America coming out the best; their vaccination program is in top gear now, and that is essentially the only way to stop the monster. Canada is a snails pace in comparison, and anybody who knows about our leftist feminist incompetent lot in parliament understands why. IMO
