Price of Gold up significantly since Q4/2023 NR
Philippine historic tax litigation/write down dealt with in 2023
Haile likely to continue improving
Credit facility reported to be in good shape
11,000 oz. gold sold in January/2024
Wharekirouponga grades outstanding
      Q1/2024 should be significantly better than Q4/year end/2023., most analysts are BUY

Sorry, should read and edit before posting--however, in case some don't know, the 11,000 oz. alluded to were produced in 2023 but sold in January 2024 no reason given in NR, but one could speculate that Oceana knew the Q4/year end was going to be a turkey---why throw good money after bad when they could better utilize the benefits to all concerned if the 11,000 were sold in Q1/2024, and we ...more

No doubt the 11,000 ounces will assist the 1st quarter of 2024, but most likely a timing issue. With a cost of capital of 6% + it is important to realize the money asap.  The first quarter of 2024 will not look that great by the company`s own admission.  " Lower unit cost of gold produced in 2024, with 2024 AISC1 guidance of $1,475 to $1,600 per ounce sold. E.  We seem to be doing OK generally speaking, POG not hurting that's for sure---what's missing imo is people coming back to the intermediate golds, looking for bargains in this space;  I think that day is looming, not like the boom era, but some doubles and triples for the OGC's and NGD's of the world.  Good luck.  IMO
