Who's selling, who's buying?
I would seriuously like to know who is seling in to this drop?
Tax loss sales, or just fed up shareholders getting out? I think it's a little late for tax loss sales. Thought that was generally Nov and early Dec. Guess they techically have unitl today, Dec 30th to seell for the loss. Buying back should start next week for loss sales in late Nov and early Dec.
Or, are they still shorting the s#!t out of this. There seemes to be little resistance in the charts. Didn't think there was much left to go for the shorters to go, but with little or no resistance, who knows how far they can short this down ?
I don't have up to date shorting info, but Dec 15, 2021 had 238.32k shorts at 2.58%, and I expect that number has increased in the past two weeks. I will be interested to see what that short % is once that gets updated into January.
I would serioulsy like to know who is buying into this drop ?
Cause when someone is selling, someone has to be buying!
Is it all just Day traders and shorters playing, or are there 'longs' picking up more shares ?
I know I picked up some more. So did others I know.
I am not actually looking for answers to those questions, they are intended more ritorical.
If it is just day traders and shorters playing in the turmoil, then this is going to bounce around and likely continue downward until there is solid news. It will be interesting to see how far down it can be pushed.
No, I am not enjoying the drop! It is just interesting.
If the shorting is mainly responsible for the drop and if there is a good percentage of 'longs' buying up what they deem to be bargan basement prices with the intent to hold them long, then once this turns a bit and tax loss sales change to buying shares back, then potentially there will not be enough available shares to cover the all shorts, and I think we would see a small short squeeze. But the short % is not large enough to cause a serious SP increase IMHO.
It will be interseting to see what happens after the 30 day tax loss period starts the buy back back, if that should occur.
Nothing really imoratant here, just rambling.

I bought more into the drop this week. Then again I have also in my life had dental work without freezing. short term pain, long term gain. Pela will either prove useful or not. That decision will play out Q1 of this year. I also, sold into the spike last March. nothing major on either side, just a little adjustment here & there.

I didn't sell a single share, but didn't buy any either. I anticipate a big boom in the next months..... Good luck and happy new year to all.
