Time is running out...

And this is why...

Experimental CRISPR technique has promise against aggressive leukaemia | New Scientist

I
mmunotherapy is becoming personalised...

If ONCY doesn't get a solid partnership or unless it's bought out by end of Q2. then it will never will be... It'll be a nailbiting race.

But what do you want to succeed, a 26 year old therapy that can double survival... or a cure..?

ONCY mgmt... the clock is ticking...

https://www.bbc.com/news/health-63859184 More extensive article here man. Cheers!!!! "Most children with a leukaemia respond to the main treatments, but it is thought that up to a dozen a year could benefit from this therapy" Not a big market so far. I think Pela’s breast cancer market and pancreatic are much bigger and closer to a real market for now.

For sure, such therapies are still a few years away... but then approval from a phase III for mBC is 4 years away for ONCY. And what would patiuents rather have, life extension of 10 months, or a cure. We still do not know whether addition of a CPI to the pela/pax doublet actually increases what was seen in IND-213. Brad Thomson was on record stating that patients are living longer and longer ...more

For now itntdf. Sequencing the first human genome cost 2.7 billion. it nows costs lerss than a 1000 dollars... When personalised meds can be manufactured on demand, and cheaply, then why accept anything else. ONCY would surely get approval first, but, trials that show cure vs OS need far less patients. The edits either work, or they do not... and I maintain that ONCY is running out of time to be ...more

sequencing a gene is not the same as editing a gene.  got any new numbers for that?
Comment by itntdf on Dec 13, 2022 1:46pm
Currently, the cost of human genome editing therapies ranges between $373,000 and $2.1 million4.Jan 7, 2022 Is CRISPR gene editing expensive? Unnoteworthy, gene editing cannot help improve your brain functions. Please give it up and stop polluting this board. We really need knowledgeable people to exchange here.
