I noticed a new urine test that may be able to predict bladder cancer 12 years before diagnosis. I mention this because ONC/ONCY was going to run a small trial in muscle-invasive bladder cancer, and there was quite a bit of buzz at the time. See release June 8, 2015. They withdrew the trial owing to repurposing. Nevertheless bladder cancer is yet another indication that an owner of pela could ...more

Interesting. All BP currently involved in negotiations with Onc must be on cloud 9 thinking of all the revenue Pela could bring in. BP must be even more excited knowing that, in this current market, Oncy's once strong positioning at the negotiation table due to strong science is evaporating along with its SP. And Big Pharma faces a looming patent cliff. In the process of taking the Trillion dollar cost of cancer and Big Pharma's firepower into consideration, the PD-(L)1 immune checkpoint inhibitor market is ...more

Fox, One way would be for a big pharma to buy into oncy, say a 25% stake, for $ 1 billion or more. That would entail creating a new class of non-trading shares. Why would they do that? To get tied close to us. If that were the result of competitive bidding, it would not be a hard sell to a board. All IMHO

I had posted this back in Dec, 2022, but will repost and add to it... I was concerned about this a few years back and queried MM at that time. His response was basically as follows... ( not his words... but my recap of...) In order for someone to attempt a hostile take over, they would have to buy up at least 10% of the float to even begin to push the issue. More likely 15-20% to be successful ...more
