Random things, from AGM information

First to qualify:
I have not yet recieved my packing in mail yet either.
None-the less, all the "stuff" is well explained on SEDAR:As well as on-line links.
So: it is very possible for anyone to comment on details, without yet recieving a package:

Interesting, looking at mangemnt circular ( pages of stuff) for upcoming AGM. They show a nice diagram of a Biotech sub index & ONCY Maybe ONC mangement is responsible for the whole sub index to be down as much as it is?( LOL)
The data they show from the index ( 2017 to now) a $100 investment in ONC would be worth $32. The same $100 in the index would be worth $20.
They know the SP is down & they know it is concern. Put into context. While some have huge $ invested in ONC(Y). A failure will result in a $$ loss. Obviously means much different levels to each and al investors. Management? A failure, Loss of job. Loss of lifes work. And they personally do hold a lot of shares. And ONC does not offer a pension plan to its employees. So, they are"invested" in a level well beyond the individual shareholders. The massive options they hold ( which BTW cost nothing) until exercised.Nothing for ONC or the recipient. Just paper
numbers. So! They will do very well, if/when things come to a deal.
Regarding the index comparison. They are making a point.
Yes 100% ONC Share price is down & a lot. Then again, compared to a peer group: The "index" not quite as bad.
Small retribution, I agree.
So: ONC? They have put all the cards & marbles on the table for the June ASCO results.
I doube any business development deal will be reached until after that data is "matured" as they said.
They MUST, have a partner or business development within Q3, to move forward with Phase 3 registration into second half as they are now saying.
Trully a binary situation.Yes Pela works & things rapidly improve.
Or it does not ..leading to a very diffcult close out to the year.
They have the Bracelet data and the very quiet Pancreatic cancer results.
Regarding the "additional options request"?
Few appreciate> "options" are an oportunity to buy shares at a fixed price. Until the SP is "in the money" they "options" are just numbers.
They do not dillute, or cost the company anything.
If the SP goes up ( great) and they excersice the options, they still need to come up with the $$ to buy the shares.

That is why they are called options.... & not shares.

Canadafan, not long ago there was a prediction that we would have a buyout or partner by the end of March (Pfizer 90 exclusive), then it became obvious Pfizer had dropped out of the running and then the  prediction something  by the end of June after ASCO and the maturing of data would be known and now you are suggesting Q3 will be the NEW timeline. Please, enough already. The volume has ...more

Pfizer and any other Big Pharma company with an immune checkpoint inhibitor that would benefit from being combined with ONCY's pelareorep are all potential acquirers of ONCY.  Aside from Pfizer developing its own PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor in sasanlimab, Pfizer's intended $43 Billion acquisition of Seagen may not receive the approval of the FTC as I had posted recently, since they ...more

Furthermore, any acquisitor of ONCY will have the ability to out-license pelareorep to any other Big Pharma company with an immune checkpoint inhibitor, CAR-T therapy, bispecific or antibody drug conjugate (ADC) or any of the small molecules PARP, and CDK 4,6 inhibitors, for example.

Letting an exclusively agreement expire is not dropping out, phizer continues with its agreement in the trials. Just wanted to make sure people understand. The 90 days was when only phizer and oncy could look at the data, that's it that's all. Nobody as in BP has dropped out.

A couple of points - no one, with the exception of ONCY and PFE - knows whether PFE has walked away from Pelareorep. And my other point is could it not be that the lack of trading volume is simply majority of shareholders are holding on to their shares knowing/hoping the end game is finally near?
Comment by KTDfyi on Apr 09, 2023 6:48pm
That's my take on it. Low volume days I consider differently than regular or higher volume days.

The only big move we are going to see is when we go to the bathroom to potty  I'm afraid.  The dreamers here have  been touting  a big move for 3 years......
