The week ahead

First what we know for sure.
This coming Friday, Onc will be having Q3 results, updates & general progress.
That event is not newsworthy. As it is a legal requirement only.
Simoly put, part if on- going process.

We also know, last week some decent results were confirmed for tge Pancreatice cancer arm. In addition to that the colorectal cancer arm, data was good enough to allow progress to the next stage.
both of these in coterapy within the Roche Goblet trial.

We also know, Onc was selected for a $5million grant to add another co- therapy arm to the pancreatic cancer opportunities.

We also know the " within 90 day update";of the special PanCan phase 3 trial details are now long over due.
Could be the $5 million grant changed the negotiations a bit. As a logical minimum, would 100% change any in place paperwork.

This Friday?
unless there is a N.R. This week prior, they do need to address the delay...of the " within 90 day update".
A simple nod to its existence & " we are working in it";woukd be suffice.
Total non- denial , denial of the timeline & where things are would not be precived or received well.
I appreciate 100% the Q3 update is a forced date. The negotiations are not & do not need to match any outside dates.
HOWEVER, outside communications are very important to build sentiment & gain traction with the SP.

My commentary;
The last few weeks of data & news has been great. The future for onc is at a crossroads.
Multiple irons in the fire. 
Six/ six anakysts with buy ir string buy recommendations. Withn targets well above existing.
My gut feelings , this week will have some interesting surprises.

Last Sat, I met a random, very educated & on the ball investor.
we talked mostly about energy stocks.
i Did ask if she knew about biotech, specifically Onc?
She has been following for an extended period of time. 
Has not bought yet.
interesting, first comment from her on Onc " They will be getting bought out & soon".
again, totally random. Don't know this lady at all.
I do know she follows multiple investments & investment T.V. Shows.
Her comments in one context, meaningless.
however, a point of view I I found quite interesting.

Boy, if I think a company is "getting bought out and soon", I have a position in said company. I hope your gut is on the ball this time Canada, and I tend to agree with you...we may get some juicy stuff this week. GL.

The only thing we can say for sure is the stock price keeps going down. If I had a dollar for every time a pumper has said "to the moon" this time over the last numerous years I could be a millionaire. But... even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

Well, a year after breakthrough Goblet/pdac data reveal and we need a random meeting with an equally random investor (not in Oncy tho) to drum up the positive sentiment around here with a buyout call. At least the cheer squad slept soundly. November 8 2022, a SP of $2.38. Today? Thx Matty boy.

Hey Canadafan, I like you but do not think that you have to be so pious about all of it. We all know the history and I have been around since 2000 and have seen it all the same as you but dare not to make the same predictions as you which have not come to fruition.As for the BOD and their expertise, as experienced as they are they have not taken this company very far after 25 years and I am sure
