Easy checked. Was there adverse weather in calgary yesterday?

Sure hope they got their money back for the flights. Hurts the bottom line :)

We're you one of the dopes who was saying it was a waste of time going there? Now it's a sign of trouble he didn't go?  Aside from the consistent stupidity, can we have a consistent stance from the Fud clowns?

A quick look at Calgary departures yesterday shows no major scheduling disruptions (despite a late day snow storm). I don't care enough to look at the connections to New Orleans. I'll wait till someone else does before calling out ONC's bullsh*t amateurish conduct.

I like your style, do very little to back up your point. You by any change a politician?

Flight from Calgary to New Orleans connects through Dallas travel time total aboutv7 hours minimum. MC would have gonad to leave yesterday, Weather and airports at all 3 locations show no concerns yesterday. Is ONC deceiving its shareholders?

Good boy. The only weather we're concerned with is Calgary.  Was there a storm that may have impeded travel by plane, car etc? Look it up.
Comment by JohnnyYeg on Mar 01, 2024 10:36am
Or at any connection points Matt would have taken? Because I can probably guarantee you there are NO direct flights from Calgary to New Orleans. Say Denver, Salt Lake City, or Minneapolis?
Comment by itntdf on Mar 01, 2024 10:43am
maybe they were dotting the i's and crossing the t's on an agreement and failed to tune in to the weather channel, or they never considered going down a day early so as not to miss such an important opportunity to rub elbows.
Comment by JohnnyYeg on Mar 01, 2024 11:15am
I'm kind of thinking they scheduled this ahead of time so as not to pay full fare the day before, and therefore are at the mercy of the airlines and/or weather.
Comment by Azzak34 on Mar 01, 2024 11:20am
This would certainly have been planned well in advance.  There's a dope saying he should have flown private. Imagine the uproar if he'd done that.  Matt may be a nervous flyer and the weather spooked him. He may have been snowed in at home. Regardless it will be something significant for him to bail last minute with the I'll feeling that could engender in those circles ...more

"Severe and unexpected travel disruptions" Unfortunately for MC, this statement can be fact checked.  The early afternoon flight from Calgary to Dallas on Feb 29th left without trouble, arriving in Dallas about 20 minutes later than scheduled.  The typical connector (as per google flights) is about 3 hours after landing in Dallas.  There were no delays or problems with ...more
