No surprise they let the options expire and then exercised the rights for some free money.
Comment by Noteable on Dec 12, 2024 5:52pm
There's no "free money" in the granting of options, only the right to purchase of shares of the companyat the price the options were granted and by a certain date. Should the shares nott be acquired by the 'maturity date'- the options expire and the allottted (reserved) shares are returned to the company's treasury..  So, in Coffey's case he let 331, 267 options ...more

Hard for people to understand, even when the last dec. Options were in the money that they did not declare they would not exercise the options. Even when we had that last run 2 mo the ago when they were in the money they would not exercise. Ask yourself why....because they don't want to hang onto the shares or exercise them and then sell the shares as it sends the wrong message. They have not ...more

As I tried to explain, " employee stock options are rights to purchase shares at a specified price, the strike price, on or before a given date. This is termed an American “call option.” If the price of the stock rises above the strike price on or before the expiry date, the holder of the call option can purchase the stock at the strike price and resell it at the higher market price ...more

Well we sure gained a lot as the sp is showing. My take is that they did not want to exercise regardless as they did not want to hold shares and also that they did not think the sp was going anywhere so why put in any of your own money. Also were we really in a blackout period which was the only way they could hold on to the dec 2023 options and if not in a blackout then they did not care about ...more

eh "dreamer" you should take the stage and make a big statement on yahoo and stocktwit as you usually do and spread your false reasoning to misslead people once again.   Continue to denigrate your own investment and above all hide under several aliases.   Give us a nice conversation with your multiple nicknames, but be careful not to forget to change your alias when ...more

Hey normy,  yes I have a different alias on the other board, never denied it. Good thing we have u here to add so much of your knowledge and wisdom for everyone.. as.for.misleading, it's all a matter of interpretation as u  and others constantly applaud others who often mislead and give false hope but that is OK.  Oh well is what it is and good to hear from you and nice to know ...more

With this kind of response, let's say that I'm not surprised that you never understand anything to anything and that your explanations are always endless and are a bunch of contradictions. Keep trying to be the star and talk out of both sides of your mouth, you are fantastic, in a word you are super_man.

The truth is imho..... what retail perceives these actions to mean, correctly or not, ain't helping the price and sentiment.
Comment by Buckhenry on Dec 13, 2024 11:16am
When one decides to go into denial and doesn't take a realistic approach they bash anyone that doesn't agree with their false narrative. They are probably so upside down here they are afraid to realize the truth because the pain would be to great. So we will continue the two different factions here.

There are currently 61700 shares @ $1.18 for sale on the tsx. Begs the question are they accessing the ATM. BP have known the dynamics of this company for 25 years. This is especially true of Pfizer and none have made the ultimate move of either a bo or as a partner. It is as though they want further evidence that pela warrants a gamble. The danger here is that better financed and managed ...more

I agree and it is obvious that there is always the danger of another treatment or technology leap frogging over other companies. In a partner situation financing would  be an issue not with abuyout as the BP becomes the financier. But, it does beg the question....Is BP trying to starve Oncy into submission. The ethical choice is to move a promising drug along but money  gets in the way ...more
