Price

With everything we know about the company, what estimate would you give for the share price? Personally, I'd put the price at between 0.12 and 0.20. At the moment, they only have one mine in production, which is falling every year. At this price you can get juniors on the market with better valuations.

$1 If Juan gets out of the way............imho.....
Comment by greendayyyy on May 03, 2024 12:31pm
Instead, I believe that to reach the $1 price, we need to sell this company to a real management team with real mining, management and financing knowledge. We need to add a second mining project as soon as possible, or acquire one already in production. It's all about sustained effort and reinvention, not complacency and giving up as we've been doing for years. That's how to succeed in ...more

Sound like you want to go back to where TUD was before Juan joined?  Back when TUD produced 100,000+ oz oa AU a year PLUS copper and sivler?????   With imminent projects coming on line????

If you just look at CXB, they have a top-notch management team. They recently acquired Marathon in Canada. With this deal they will increase their production to around 500,000 ounces per year by 2025. NGD is another miner that has had its share of problems in recent years. Today, the management team has rolled up its sleeves and will be producing around 600,000 ounces by 2025. I could also mention ...more

I watched a video last week of Juan bragging how he was going to take ORV from 100,000 oz AU to 200,000 over the next 4 to 5 years.  Guess how long ago that was???  4.5 ears ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is Juan solely to blame, of course not.  BUt look at the events of the past 5 yeats.........hes a big part of it imho......
Comment by Larry60 on May 03, 2024 3:18pm
PS  During that period, GOLD DOUBLED and ORVs production cratered......imho And the imminent OSP????????????????????  still imminent baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No mystery behind Fabulosa.  It is owned by the family of a former President of BOlivia...Gonzalo Snchez de Lozada Just did some digging...............its domiciled in Panama!!!!!!!!!!  THats not a good thing imho. It appears the family, imho, likes to keep a low profile...........they do control ORV though. WHo whithin the family?  daugther, son????? In any event, I think the ...more

While Fabulosa is not a mystery, what is a mystery is why would the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonzalo_S%C3%A1nchez_de_Lozada  family allow current management to carry on given that many, such as myself and many on this board, are of the opinion that management has failed in so many areas time and again?  Whether that be missed timelines quarter after quarter, missed production ...more

Larry...we need a true whistleblower

Slapping the company with a law suit will do it. If it is a Ponzi scheme, it needs to be expaused
Comment by Larry60 on May 09, 2024 11:47am
thales.  not a ponzi scheme imho...................... none of us know what is going on.  so we are all speculating. Of course, ORVs pattern of (non)disclosure does not help imho.   Was anyone here happy to find out the mine had been on strike which materially affected production.............2 months later?!?!?!?!?!?   Who thinks a 2 month, or 2 week, delay is proper ...more

Can't get to these clowns by phone and end up sending them regular emails reminding them of their corporate duties. Invariably, I end up my emails by mentioning and extending my greetings to the clowns mothers

From what Im hearing from you and others on this board, it sounds like management doesnt care.  Do you think they respond the same way to Fabulosa/Delazoda Gonzalez family??????? Did I miss a chapter and ORV went private??????? What says the board?????

i believe latest date for filing Q2 is Tuesday???????    Most issuers file well before the deadline..............its a dealine, not a recommendation Another week gone by ........no news on OSP..................................... Can anyone take management or their overlords seriously???  If so, why????????

Poll: Do you think ORV will pull the late Friday NR on Q2 results????   They do seem to like doing that imho.......................... Random Thoughts:  Should Juan remain on as CEO?  What impact has the price of gold doubling during Juans tenure had on ORVs production and cash flow?  When was the OSP supposed to be in production?  How does ORV's overhead and ...more

Larry...not a shareholder friendly company.
Comment by greendayyyy on May 11, 2024 8:28am
ORV already operates like a private company. We all know that they never work for small shareholders like us. For them, we don't even exist. Never in the last ten years has this company had any intention of increasing production through new projects. They will never, ever sell this company. No knowledge of mining. Increasing workers' wages while production declines year after year and ...more
