what is the reason for PAAS

almost -20% in 4 days on no news? Seems a little excessive this decline

I agree.  Probably nothing to worry about.  Having held PAAS for a little over 3 years now, I have found that this stock has these big up and down moves.  Pretty decent buying opportunity at this level, IMHO.

I agree Convester, I have held since Tahoe took over the Timmins Gold properties.  Road this thing down to the lows. 13.00 dollar mark and up to the highs 54.00 dollar mark. That is some crazy movement..... with some big losers and big winners.  I am neither, as I still hold my origional purchase. PAAS seems to really take a nose dive when gold price drops.....but no doubt gold will ...more

...........kind of wonder if Escobal will be open within the next 10 years. All the big guys need to do is ride this thing for about  7 years and 10 month until the CVR expires and then the old holders of Tahoe get squat! I have my own theory on his whole thing but it is only a theory so I can't share it at this point but it starts with the quite sudden "failure"  of Tahoe.

Ya the fact that escobal is still sidelined doesnt give me much faith that it will be back up anytime soon.  If we get back up in rhe 50.00's I may decide to move on.....not aure yet but I have help long enough....might as well live life at some point and spend some cash!

.......... I feel much the same about this. I have been in this since the Lakeshore days and although I didn't like the Tahoe takeover of LSG, it turned out sort of OK. THO paid a decent divedend and their price was quite good ..... then along came the Escobal shut down and the subsequent shorting of THO. A very well orchestrated plan that was executed perfectly once again scr3wing the ...more

I was quite disappointed in Investor Relations when I called her a couple days ago.  I questioned her regarding PAAS performance to its peers and she basically shrugged her shoulders.  Gave no explanation or reason to continue holding.  Very unprofessional, especially for a company of this size. I am not prepared to take a loss at these levels, will ride it out for a while.
