Canada Pension Fund votes AGAINST
The C.P.P. which we all have a stake in ,has voted AGAINST the merger ( their policy is to publicly disclose their vote for every issuer they hold) . Isn't it great that the Government got something right for a change ?

This disclosure is not on their site. Where did you find it?

Go to the CPP Investment Board website and look under Proxy voting search . They also voted their shares of Avenex AGAINST the merger .

No wonder our pension fund is going to run out before we get to take advantage of it!

Has anyone checked the CPP site?? They do not show any vote results. Why do people believe they are voting against it?

It was confirmed by the Globe and Mail this morning. I don't want to have anything to do with either Avenex or Charger. Vote NO

Go back to their site and check under proxy. You should see mgmt. Recommend -for , vote - against. If memory serves me correct
