https://pieridaeenergy.com/news-release/pieridae-creating-caroline-carbon-capture-power-complex

Carbon Capture & Sequestration, & Blue Power Complex Would Be the Biggest in Canada and One of the Largest in North America

Key Highlights:

  • Large-scale carbon capture and sequestration (CCS), and blue power production at Pieridae’s Caroline, Alberta facility
  • Advances Pieridae’s long term ESG strategy and supports the company’s commitment of net-zero emissions by 2050 for its Goldboro LNG Project
  • Sequesters up to 100 million tonnes of CO2 over three-plus decades
  • Removes equivalent emissions of more than 650,000 cars each year
  • Produces 1.9 billion kilowatt-hours of blue power  and sequesters one million tonnes of CO2 annually during Phase 1 of the Project, enough to power 112,000 households each year
  • Produces up to 7.9 billion kilowatt-hours of blue power annually on full build-out

I'm guessing they get the power by burning the hydrogen after stripping off carbon from methane in steam processing (the way industrial hydrogen is already produced, except there the CO2 is vented).
