Pieridae = Journey Energy

Pieridae removed the hedging program just in 2022, that's why we didn't see the impact in the Q4 of 2021. Look like Pieridae will follow Journey Energy (Journey E bought Briko Energy part of Ikkuma)

Journey Energy jump from 0,88$ to 6$ in one year. The debt of Pieridae if bigger but Journey Energy don't have LNG project...We will see where Pieridae will jump after the Q1 and after Fed decision on the LNG project.

Did anybody bother listening to the conference last week? Sorensen could not have been more clear that there is no support coming from the federal government. It was a public plea.

It is an investor they need- at least a billion dollars to start.  After a few years of that not happening they went to the feds for a billion, starting around this time 2020. That blew up in public a year ago. It would not have been called investment, but not " ...more

CS9, Was there not some talk, back in the day, of some German govt. funding in exchange for gauranteed supply?
Comment by commonsense9 on Mar 30, 2022 11:57am
That was the deal until the project was cancelled last year.  But Germany was obviously not willing to put in the big loans without seeing someone put skin in the game first. That would be the investor that never happened, and Sorensen same as before said he is confident about. Had the feds stepped forward with the billion dollars last year, I thing it is likely Germany would have kicked in ...more

CS9, thanks for that.  Would you take any expression of German interest at this point a huge boost or do you think that Soenson's credability is too damaged at this point?

Nobody should believe a word Sorensen says, without some kind of backup to it. Even when he is admitting to problems and obstacles, you have to be careful about smokescreens. Tricky about Germany- and about Uniper. They never say anything publicly, so its hard to check Sorensen's claims against anything. For now that is kind of moot- he only occassionaly makes the vaguest of references to ...more
