$15 per share before the next ER?

PEY jumped that $12.30 resistance hurdle but it still has a couple more,  mainly $13.30ish and $14.40ish before it sees $15.

With the ex-div approaching on the 30th it still has a couple of trading days to try to jump both.  If NG stays above $5 it may be doable this week.  If not there is always next month's ex-div and the Q1 ER approaching but will NG pricing hold above $5 for that long?

Q I think your hesitation and many others are not only what is keeping prices lower by a huge margin.  It is this nagging feeling that the floor will fall out from below our feet.  Many of us have been burnt over and over by politicians in Canada, U.S. or producers over drilling etc. As we get closer to 2023 and then 2025 for LNG maybe, and better now that LNG seems to be the saviour of ...more

If you don't sell and keep the shares you collect the dividend and don't miss out on any potential gains. PEY has already hinted at raising the dividend probably late 2022 or early 2023 once debt gets paid down to a degree. Some debt is always considered efficient. Whether any other shares rise that you might switch into may or may not happen.   For some reason people feel ...more

The hedges peeling off and the forward curve rerating is the giant catalyst. With 2023-2025 already at $3.50/GJ, Peyto will be making $550-600 FCF on a go forward basis. That is without including that I think the short term stress in the 2022 market is going to bleed into 2023 (pricing of $4/GJ). NGL markets are also on fire. Propane, up to now almost a useless commodity, is trading at close to ...more
