I had some money, so i bought 130 calls today strike price 12 march 23, at average price $3.6. so now i have 620 calls with me. THere seems no doubt i will earn one million in a years time.

If you are that bullish have you considered going with a margin position instead naked options? You are tieing up $3.6, of which $1.72 is extrinsic value which will get vaporized over the next year and losing at least $0.60 in dividends, most likely much more. You could enter into a similar position with let's say 50% equity so $6.94, which will earn at least $0.60 in dividends , while costing ...more

I guess I'm going in the wrong direction as usual:-) - I sold a bit in the high $14.20s last week to eliminate my margin - not because I don't think that Peyto will eventually go higher but because I'm uncomfortable with borrowing to invest

When you write  "but because I'm uncomfortable with borrowing to invest"  .... a simple sincere piece of advice... under those conditions  Don't do that again  and lighten the "road to riches dream"  but sleep more confortably.  Peyto is a solid investment IMHO over the coming 18 months, given their operating capability and their current ...more
