Huge heat waves all over the world!

Here in Canada, the U.S ( especially Cali ) and Europe are experiencing massive heat waves. So, then why is the price of Nat Gas declining and these Nat Gas prices are in decline mode? What's their excuse this time when they previously said....Hot prices driving air conditioners on full mode, people travelling now etc. I call Bull !!

High inventories both here and in Europe translate to high supply even with high demand. We are lucky to see nymex ng pricing holding steady around $2.50ish.  A lower injection quantity would help.  Maybe soon with rigs decreasing. GLTY and all

Too much US dry gas production - took them way too long to reduce drilling. The YoY growth seems to have ceased now - I follow Rich Asplund @ barchart.com who gives a daily rundown of US natural gas production. Otherwise, still growing ex weather, plus hot weather is helping (...) Plus LNG is up YoY.  The 12 month strip was at $3.10ish yesterday, too low to hedge and below Haynesville cost.  ...more
