Electric vehicles during hurricanes
With roads under 2-3 feey of salt water in Florida, just how useful and safe would electric vehicles be?
Any well qualified opinions?

About as safe and effective as a gas vehicle once the water level has reached the air intake.

The Li battery will ignite a quick bright flamed fire, but then will be extinguished quickly because it's in water.

The Hurricane will take out the power lines so your EV will be useless as no power to charge the battery .
