PIH could double from here

Looking at the financials for PIH, their revenues have been growing quickly.  Look at the quarterly EPS numbers below.  PIH mentioned increased customer demand along with strong revenue growth for their 1st Qtr.
"Pacific Insight Electronics Starts Fiscal Year with Strong Revenue Growth and Increased Customer Demand".

They did 33 cents per share and if they can do an average of 30 cents/share for 4 quarters, that's $1.20/yr EPS x a multiple of 10 gives you $12.00/share.

This can easily be a double from here.  Even if they just average 25 cents/share for 4 quarters, that works out to $10/share.

Hint, take the last 3 quarters and you get an average of 25 cents/share/qtr EPS but remember that the EPS has been increasing and the market is forward looking.  The last 2 quarters average is 31 cents/sh EPS.  The last quarter was 33 cents/share.

The next earnings report should be out by the middle of February and if they can do 30+ cents/share earnings, there is no reason I know of that the share price shouldn't quickly get to at least $8.00.

All in my honest opinion.

Nice to have another voice (and a positive one) here. I was looking for around $7 target when $4.50 or so. I pesonally don't like some of those LED lights in vehicles but it is overwhemingly the trend. Very evident at Car Show for the OEMs PIH supplies. Do you reckon they also get a patent royalty for every vehicle with ignition-on daylights?

I'm not sure about a patent royalty as you mentioned but anything that helps the bottom line is good for shareholders.  They did mention new program introductions.  Their company description mentions more than just LED lights: "Pacific Insight Electronics Corp is engaged in providing electronic solutions to the automotive, commercial, and specialty vehicle markets. You have no arguments from me really but the AIF indicates (as do the segmented revs) that LED lighting in various forms is the predominant segment and promises to remain so.  I like so many things about this company not least of which are their y/y increased gross profit margin, their new plant (2014) in Mexico, the names of their OEM and other customers (VW not included), and the apparent ...more

You made some very good points.  Unfortunately, this is not a well known or followed company so the traders will try and take it down because of present market conditions.  Then load up just before the financials are released which should be out around Feb 12th if you use their last one as an example which was reported on Nov 12th.

Yes, SEDAR reveals reporting about that date. Like this move down for its buying op. I just cannot see how the next financials can be disappointing. Good Luck.

Well, Ford is a listed customer so surely (?) the latter's sales results auger well.eom

Glad my mis-spell (augur not auger) did not impact the auguring. Lots of buys passed through Anon, but it was overall trend that surprised as willing to buy at those stretched asks. Good news on auto sales today. More to come I hope but, even if at top, auto volumes should still prove adequate for this company in upcoming qtrs, particularly with Mexican plant. GL

Yes, PIH now being bought up everyday.  It does look like financials should be good or at least expected to be very good.  Glad to be a shareholder and hope that many new investors have come aboard when I suggested, in my opinion, that PIH could be a double in an earlier post.  It was below $6 and now $7.70 GL
