Does NOT MATTER What the CURRENT Dividend Yield IS__What Matters IS What YOUR
ACTUAL Yield IS on YOUR Adjusted Cost for YOUR Shares.

THUS with the Current Dividend RATE @ 34 Cents__YOUR YIELD NOW Would BE 7.3 %

ALONG WITH a GAIN of 113 %__HAD You KEPT all Your PKI Holdings eh !!!!


Likely THIS WAS the Reason For YOUR BASHING of ParkLand a YEAR AGO Along
WITH Your BUDDIE DeanEdmonton eh ????

Made You FEEL GOOD That You HAD MADE a GOOD MOVE by DUMPING all Your
PKI shares eh ????

And NOW You REALISE that MOVE Actually HAS NOT Worked Out VEY WELL at All eh !!!!

Thanks for the heads-up. Sounds like another good take-over.

As I've mentioned. I bought PKI in Oct 2013 at $18.58 as a dividend income stock but it sure has morphed into a growth stock. In the end, I guess it just means the kids will get a bigger inheritance as it sure is a big capital appreciator.

I guess that shows how little you actually know about investing. Yield on cost is a total useless number. It's current yield that matters. Here's an example that I hope you can comprehend. If I have $10k invested in 250 shares of a stock whose price is now $40 and has a divy of $1 (ie: current yeild of 2.5%), I would get $250 in dividend income per year. If I sell that and buy 250 shares

I hadn't finished reading your response as i had stopped at the ridiculous statement that yield on cost is more important than current yield. (as I just explained in the last posting) I just saw the 113% capital gain statement. I would definitely not have that as I was selling in the > $45 range and would have a capital loss. I would also have way less accumulated dividend income as I
