How can this trade all day today then the final ten minutes shares are magically bought for the lowest price in months?  Volume 4x average.  So many dirty tricks.  Please explain

Oil right at the moment NG nearing summers end. Only if you're a trader and not a long term investor. You're in the wrong forum for that. Love them and leave them. is the motto around here.

Algorithms, day traders, shorters. They're not dirty tricks. They all provide market liquidity. This is an income instrument and is considered a reit. Now is not a good time to own reits, high interest rates, brick and mortar companies are struggling to fill vacancies. Dividend rate of 8% so you're earning while you wait and it looks like a payout ratio of around 70% which isn't the ...more

There was a huge CIBC buyer on the 18th. Bought 118,000 shares, sold 27,000. The biggest sale came after hours at 16:09 which is known as the market-at-close facility. Prior volume into day's ends was mostly on the ATS, non-tsx volume. Liquidity tends to dry up which makes bid-ask spreads sometimes wider. Still a bear market, people capitulate or want out.
