What happens in a reverse split is you position is annihilated price goes up but only usualy temporarily. So now you have less of the stock and as price slips once again you are left with nothing . No one does a Rev split to benefit stock holders . It's done to pay the high incomes of board and ceo etc . Usualy followed by their Exodus from the sinking ship
