Q1 Financials - My Best Takeaway

Here is what I think is most compeling about todays financial release:

1) Increased Revenue from $25.4 Million to $35.5 Million = Increase of $10.1 Million
2) Increased Adjusted Funds Flow from $1.2 Million to $10.0 Million = Increase of $8.8 Million

Incremental Revunue up 10.1 Million translates into Incremental Funds Flow (Cash Profit) of 8.8 Million..... 87% efficiency converting incremental revenue to incremental profit.... only 13% variable costs. Pine Cliff is a Cash Machine!!!

Ask yourself what would happen if we see a 10% production increase? 20% production increase? Answer: A further Cash Profit $2-5 Million/Qtr.

Bonus... prices will continue to strengthen in Q3 and we will have a pricing blow out in Q4/21 & Q1/22.

~ More irrelevant data on LNG & US demand from NGI: “If weather forecasts start to call for significant early-season air-conditioning demand along the southern tier of the country” in May, “the injection season contracts could quickly rise by 5-10%,” EBW Analytics Group said Monday. “If hotter-than-normal weather arises this summer, it could amplify structurally bullish weather-normalized ...more

Nice for sure, I don't think increases in production is on the minds of any oil and gas companies these days. Lack of investment in new supply is why we are here, those with long life assists will be rewarded with higher prices. As BIR ceo said to Andy on BNN, "no one is talking growth".They will be reducing debt and collecting cash.  Prices will go much higher until the markets ...more

I agree Java but PNE being a small company , i was thinking a 10% or so increase this year wouldn't change much , AAV done it already,  and PNE had much higher production a few years ago.

You are likely right about that, I just don't want Canada selling valuable gas for next to nothing. the future looks very good at this point java7

this company does not have new production to even bring on. They own no juicy land or formation plays their production is dwindling to say least. Only a matter of time they get bought for pennies on dollar for their old junk.
